In one of his most memorable statements during the Sermon on the Mount Jesus relays that there is a “broad road” and a “narrow road” that people may choose to walk. One way leads to life and the other toward destruction.
In our current time, it can seem like helping people discover the true way of Jesus is more difficult, as even the church itself can often appear to be following down the broad way. Yet, the way of the kingdom is meant to be found – first by us – and then by those we help to find it.
Multiply 2027
At the 2027 Ascent Multiply Summit we will be inspired to walk the kingdom path to true life, even if it requires commitments that are out of step with the norms of our day. We will also be challenged to help create more opportunities for our friends and neighbors to take the road less traveled into the life of the kingdom.

Rich Villodas is the Brooklyn-born lead pastor of New Life Fellowship, a large, multiracial church with more than seventy-five countries represented in Elmhurst, Queens. Rich graduated with a BA in pastoral ministry and theology from Nyack College. He went on to complete his Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary. Rich is the author of 4 books, the award winning The Deeply Formed Life, Good and Beautiful and Kind, The Narrow Path and his most recent Waiting for Jesus. The Heron in Alexandria, VA is the Multiply 2027 conference hotel. It is conveniently located across the street from Old Town Community Church in Old Town Alexandria. We have negotiated a highly favorable rate of $179/night for a standard room and $199/night for a double queen room. This will be your easiest and most convenient option. The Reagan National Airport is approximately 15 minutes from Old Town Alexandria and the D.C. Metro runs around the clock from Reagan to Old Town. Dulles International and Baltimore-Washington International are also located within a reasonable drive of Multiply 2027.
