Many churches in North America have struggled for decades to reach, engage, and retain young adults as active church members and leaders. Research and experience explain that one of the biggest reasons for this is that for many adults who grew up in church, life changes led them away (college, job changes, physical moves, et. al.)—and they’ve never returned. But the very existence of the Church in the future depends upon the younger generations of today.
BGAV’s Kairos collegiate ministries disciple young adults at a critical and formative stage of their lives as they discover their unique identity in Christ and explore how they will live as impactful leaders in the kingdom of God. This generation of young adults in their 20s and 30s are particularly hopeful and imaginative. They are eager to join God in mission for the flourishing of their neighbors and communities.
