Chris Blackey

Project Lead – Mustard Seed Initiative

Chris serves as a team lead for the Mustard Seed Initiative with Ascent. He is a host on the Rural Renewal Podcast. He graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with his Master of Divinity in 2009. Since 2010 he and his wife, Kathleen, have served as co-pastors at the First Baptist Church of South Londonderry, Vermont. He also serves as the Captain of the South Londonderry Fire Department and forecasts weather for southern Vermont as the West River Weather Guy.

Chris lives with his wife, Kathleen, in South Londonderry, Vermont with their children – Sarah, Daniel, and Priscilla, as well as their cat, dog, and chickens.
