We are living in days that are unprecedented within the memory of many living throughout North America. It is a time of upheaval and unrest throughout the world and the church has struggled to find its core calling and identity in our time. In a moment of such great instability, the ground is ripe for a great move of God – if the people of God can find within themselves a hopeful witness grounded in one of the most missing dispositions of our time – joy.
Hope and Joy are elusive in our day as the witness of the church is so often eclipsed by realities competing with the kingdom. Yet, these core characteristics of the people of God, expressed through the faithful proclamation and demonstration of the gospel, may be the keys to a great awakening in our time.
For those longing to turn a new page in the evangelical witness of the church throughout North America, we invite you to join us at the inaugural Ascent Summit where we will be exploring a Hopeful Witness for a Joyful Church.

About Ascent
Ascent is a new mission connection for the church in North America. We are comprised of local churches, regional and national networks, seminaries, mission agencies, and Christian non-profit ministries. Together, we share a common goal of living out the Great Commission locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.
The March 10-12, 2026 event serves as the inaugural Ascent Summit in North America. We are expecting hundreds of leaders from all over the continent to join together to bear witness to a new day for the church and to pray for a fresh engagement with the gospel for our time.
